Mathews Youth Opportunities Team
A new evangelistic outreach initiative
to reach youth and families in Mathews County.
Who we are: A cluster of UMC churches in Mathews: Central, Emmanuel, Grace-Providence, Mathews Chapel, and St. Matthew.
Our mission: To move out in the community to meet youth and their families where they are to share God’s love and grace.
What we will do: Provide youth-based activities to build relationships and foster growth of personal relationships with Jesus Christ.
How we will do this: Offer a variety of fun and free youth activities. Some examples are:
-Outdoor movie nights -Mission projects
-Community VBS -Youth Fishing Trips
-Trunk or Treat -Music Concerts – Sponsor youth team sports
How you can get involved:
-Pray for the youth, their families, and the ministry team.
-Join the Mathews Youth Opportunities Team.
-Volunteer at sponsored events.
-Donate to the Mathews Youth Opportunities Team Fund. Donations can be made to Emmanuel UMC, PO Box 628, North, VA 23128, please include Mathews Youth Opportunities Team on the memo line.
